I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t obsess about bags. It started with my mother’s handbags in the 60’s. I can remember the colors, the details, the smoothness of the leather and the glistening clasps. As I got older I couldn’t understand why everyone obsessed about shoes when purses where so much more stylish and functional. I mean, you can carry your world in your handbag but you can’t put it in your shoes. My love of bags extends to all of the accessories that go with handbags. I guess that can even be extending to suitcases, laptop bags, etc.., anything I consider a specialized type of bag.
I am not a purse/handbag snob. If I like a bag, I don’t care where it comes from. So this blog is about all types of handbags, from small indie designers to the big luxury names.
By the way my name is Christine, I live an ordinary life (although I dream of designing my own bags), I run a business, have a family and a few hobbies I enjoy. I hope you enjoy this blog.
